Bi-weekly report - total loss of 3lbs
I didn’t report anything last week, never got around to this blog, but thankfully I have the my posts in my online support group over at Soul Cysters
It’s a great group of ladies, all trying to lose weight, with a goal of 35 pounds by Christmas (having started in late August).
I’ll start with the headlines - 2.5lbs last week and another pound this week. I’m happy with both figures
As long as it’s going in the right direction. I do expect some slowing down of the weight loss at some point, as my body gets lighter and requires fewer calories.
Won’t be a long post here today… Been a long day indeed. Started it with a 15km long hike which took 3.5 hours, with about a 20 minutes break in the middle. It was awesome though, real hard and fun. I went with my DH (Dear Husband) who is much more fit than I am. It was nice to see just how much my fitness improved. We could actually take it at pretty much the same pace, with him dragging behind an old car tire for extra weight. I actually ran for at least 2km of the way, and then some more running intervals later on. Got close to dehydration, as it was a hot sunny day here, but I made myself drink more water all the time, and ended up just fine.
After a nice afternoon with the family, I’m beat tonight. So heading for bed…
